1. Vertical Lifeline Cable Systems

The Vertical Cable System offers fall protection for workers whilst providing a functional and practical means of access and egress on structures such as wind turbines and communication towers. It can be permanently installed to a ladder or other vertical structure.

  • This fall arrest system, sliding on flexible cable has been designed to provide high security to users. Fixed on a scale and remains on a structure, it allows the user to climb and descend without having to perform any kind of manipulation.
  • The system can be easily installed on all kinds of ladders by a personnel trained and qualified by KRATOS SAFETY.
  • This system is recommended to be used indoors.

1.2 KRATOS KS 6000 Vertical Lifeline Cable Systems

  • This fall arrest system, featuring a sliding mechanism on a rigid cable, is engineered to ensure maximum safety for users during vertical movement. The system is securely fixed to a structure, allowing users to ascend and descend effortlessly without requiring any manual adjustments.
  • Constructed entirely from stainless steel, it guarantees exceptional reliability, user comfort, durability, and a long service life.
  • The KS6000 model represents a cost-effective variant of the system, as it does not include an integrated energy absorber. To ensure safe operation, it must be paired with a slider that incorporates an energy absorber.

1.3 KRATOS KS 7000 Vertical Lifeline Cable Systems

  • This fall arrest system, sliding on rigid cable has been designed to provide high security to users. Fixed on a ladder and remaining on a structure, it allows the user to climb and descend without having to perform any manipulation. The system exists in two different versions and is fully stainless steel. Reliability, comfort, durability and longevity are therefore assured.
  • The KS7000 model represents the complete version of this system. It features an integrated shock absorber, enhancing safety during use.
  • Additionally, the KS7000 is certified in compliance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, making it suitable for use in potentially explosive environments.

2. Vertical Lifeline Rail Systems

2.1 KRATOS KS 8000 System

This vertical fall arrest system is an integrated fall arrest solution made of a vertical aluminium alloy guide rail over which glides a guided-type fall arrest trolley. Permanently fixed on a ladder already integrated on the anchoring structure, it allows the operator to climb up and down without having to perform any kind of manipulation.

2.2 KRATOS KS 9000 System

This vertical fall arrest system is an integrated fall arrest solution consisting of galvanized steel ladder rungs over which is fixed a vertical aluminium rail. It also includes a stainless steel guided-type fall arrest trolley. In the absence of a fixed ladder on the anchorage structure, it allows the operator to climb up and down without having to perform any kind of manipulation.
